Whether it will be called Cowboy Cards or Horse Cards is a question that remains to be answered but one thing is for sure and it is that Red Dead Redemption 2 looks likely to have microtransactions.
Online retailers have a history of accidentally leaking the existence of games or their respective release dates before an official public announcement, and this time one such leak is surrounding Red Dead Redemption 2.
Danish retailer Coolshop has published the release date of the long-awaited Western Red Dead Redemption 2 from the creators of Grand Theft Auto. Gamers know by now that the game is set to release in the spring of 2018, unless Rockstar delays it again, but that's never going to be good enough.
If we wrote up a news piece for every store with a placeholder date, the site would be flooded with these articles.
Red Dead Redemption was a massive success when it launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010, selling millions of units with a highly successful online component that helped tailor the Grand Theft Auto 5 experiences massively and offered some of the best story DLC only second to Grand Theft Auto 4's Story DLC.
What do you make of this potential release date?
According to data provided by Coolshop, Red Dead Redemption 2 will go on sale June 8, 2018.

Rockstar is yet to confirm the release date officially, though. June 8th would still be considered spring even though it is a month more commonly associated with summer.
