The highlight feature has to be the ability to set your online status as "Do not Disturb", something fans have always been asking for.
The Next Achievements feature enables you to view and sort a cross-games list of upcoming Achievements.
The Xbox Career System sounds quite interesting on paper, giving players new incentives in obtaining Achievements, so it will be interesting to see how it gets implemented. You can also sort your Achievements by how rare they are.
A feature called Mini Game Hubs will also be available in the guide.
The feature is coming to Xbox Insider members as of now and will be coming to all other users in the near future. These Mini Game Hubs contain the same content seen in regular hubs, such as Achievements, friend activity and so on.
"Sometimes all you want to do is avoid all distractions and focus entirely on your game", the official post states.
The update will also add a "Do Not Disturb" online status, to let friends know you're now unavailable, while the community feed has also been tweaked to make it easier to view.
The update also tweaked the community feed to make it easier to view comments. Some new features will be available right away, with others rolling out over the next several weeks. Most recent comments will be posted at the top and you'll also be able to see who has liked your comments.
Additional inactivity shutdown options are being added to the Power mode & startup menu. In addition to shutting down the console after one or six hours of inactivity, you will be able to select options for two, three, four and five hours. Since the new Xbox Avatars won't arrive until early 2018, it looks like Microsoft may be bringing new surprises with Xbox Achievements too.
