The "International Shopping" experience is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Brazilian and German and 25 currencies, with more to be added later this year.
Amazon.com has announced the the launch of its "International Shopping experience", which is available via the Amazon Shopping iOS and Android apps, as well as via a mobile web browser. Customers will be able to browse and shop for products across categories including Electronics, Books, Clothing, Shoes, Toys and more. However, with "International Shopping Experience", Amazon lets users shop products from the USA, complete with localised pricing and import fee estimates.
New Zealand customers can choose from different shipping options and delivery speeds.
"We are always innovating on behalf of our customers, and with today's launch, we are making the shopping experience on mobile devices even better and more convenient for our customers who live outside the United States", said vice-president of Amazon Exports and Expansion, Samir Kumar. Further, you can select the language and currency of preference.
Customers can simply download the free Amazon Shopping App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and they will automatically be placed into the International Shopping experience. The new mode is only available on Amazon's mobile site and apps; it can be accessed by choosing "International Shopping" from the country list in your account settings.
Items ordered via the feature will be shipped to Thailand from the United States.
Amazon has promised a wider currency and language support in 2018.
