We have to admit, in the final days before the royal wedding, we actually can not handle the anticipation about what's going to go down on Harry and Meghan's big day. Elton famously performed "Candle in the Wind" as a tribute for Diana at her funeral.
TMZ also noted that John was slated to perform in Las Vegas this weekend, but rescheduled.
Elton's been tight with the Royal Family for years ... he was an extremely close friend of Princess Diana.
John also reportedly consoled Harry and his older brother Prince William after their mother's death, and attended Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding in 2011. Speaking to The Sun in January, he revealed: "I don't know". He added during an interview on Lorraine that he is delighted to see Harry so happy and in love. But she would be proud of her boys, and they're doing a great job. And I am proud of them.
"She was very much loved".
"Crocodile Rock": This would definitely be more fitting to get the dancing started at the reception, but omg imagine if he played it in the middle of St. George's Chapel.
"We are also looking forward to welcoming to St George's musical colleagues from near and far who will be performing at this very special and joyful occasion."
Meghan Markle's family have caused a lot of drama and controvery in the tabloids, leading up to the royal wedding.

He said: "I'm so excited and honoured to perform at Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle's wedding".
Despite initial claims that he has not received an invitation to the nuptials, TMZ reported that John will indeed play at least one song at the May 19 event.
