On Monday, "Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with Nikki Bella on the red carpet at the NBCUniversal Upfront presentation in NY after her ex-fiancé John Cena professed his love for her on "Today". So they legitimately probably have to stay apart because if they are actually together they're going to get caught by somebody.
"I don't know if they've already gotten back together".
"It's been incredibly reflective, which is unbelievable, but it is very hard - I had my heart broken out of nowhere, or for me, it was out of nowhere", he said.
First I want to say thank you ladies for always having me on and giving me a chance to be honest.
Cena went on to say he does not care about being "viral" with his comments, and he does not care about everything that comes out publicly following his comments, because his words were for an audience of one - and that is Nicole. I want to be the father of her children.
Kotb pointed out how Nikki was across the street at the NBCUniversal Upfronts when Cena was speaking out on Monday and how Nikki told media on the red carpet that she still loves Cena. Talk about putting someone on the spot.
"Sometimes you tip-toe around John to not make him angry and I think that's bulls-t", Brie said. Well, I'm speechless. Yeah. So, that's what made me hesitant.
When asked if shooting the show had any impact on the breakup, Nikki answered, "I felt so much pressure from the cameras, the world, my family, John, and I think I started taking care of everyone and forgot about me and that's what caused me, I don't know, I don't want to say 'snapped, ' I don't want to say 'a breakdown, ' but something like that, you know?"
"What's hard at times and what people don't realize about my relationship is I'm alone a lot and I'm alone in these big, handsome homes, which you're like, gosh, I mean, these homes are unreal", the 34-year-old wrestler admits in the season 3 premiere of Total Bellas.
