Merely a day after we exclusively leaked pictures of the upcoming Galaxy J6 in the flesh, we have come across countless renders of the new mid-range device through Dutch retailer Belsimpel which show off the handset in all its glory.
A rumor from a couple of months ago revealed that Samsung could be thinking of launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 earlier than expected, possibly in July. However, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star (SM-G885F/DS) is rumored to launch in various worldwide markets as well and not only in China as it happened with various A-series Galaxy handsets that Samsung released in the past.
As it stands, Samsung's Exynos chips are only found in Galaxy phones in certain parts of the world and select Meizu smartphones (Samsung's only client right now).
Samsung Electronics' head of smartphone business Koh Dong-jin introduces Galaxy S9 and S9+ in February.
Citing "industry sources", it's believed Samsung wants the Galaxy Note 9 to get a jump on Apple's three new iPhones and for the Galaxy S10 to be launched soon after to entice customers.
Once the company is done with both the device, Samsung is rumored to launch Galaxy X at MWC next year.
The new iPhones for 2018 are also forecast to be unveiled one or two months in advance compared to previous year, as Korean panel suppliers have made a decision to start production of OLED panels this month.
These renders reiterate that the Galaxy J6 is going to have a flat Infinity Display which means that the fingerprint sensor is now located at the back underneath the camera.
While Samsung declined to comment on the report, a Samsung official was quoted as saying.
It goes on to claim that the phone might be unveiled in August instead of September, a month earlier than past year.
