The game is being developed by 343 Industries in the new Slipstream Engine, which we don't know much about yet but it will undoubtedly be an improvement on past Halo engines. It's unclear whether Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5, or if it's a spin off game.

A shared world setup means players can automatically inhabit each other's worlds Test Drive Unlimited-style, with a new quick chat functonality meaning players can also communicate with each other more efficiently.
During the conference, we learned quite a bit about Forza Horizon 4 and even got a pretty good look at the game in action. Where Netflix has banner franchises like "House of Cards" and "Stranger Things", Microsoft has "Halo" and "Gears of War", both published by the tech behemoth itself.
