Nevertheless, the former White House communications director has the entire Trump family dancing around landmines because of secret recordings that Omarosa keeps releasing to the national media with devastating impact. She has already appeared on several cable news shows to play audio clips confirming portions of her tell-all tome.
The apparent worries of White House aides over more recordings being released come amid the publishing this week of Manigault Newman's tell-all memoir, "Unhinged", detailing her time working for Trump in the West Wing.
Omarosa released her latest effort on Thursday, playing an edited tape recording of her conversation with Trump campaign official Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, dangling a possible $15,000-per-month job.
"It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you've got in the back pocket to pull out", Lara Trump said.
When Kimmel asked if Arnold has seen the tape, he responded, "Absolutely I've seen it, and you will see it". She spoke to the AP hours after Trump's campaign announced it was filing an arbitration action against her alleging she'd violated a signed agreement with the campaign that prohibits her from disclosing confidential information. "Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her. Fake News!"
Or because of Manigault Newman's claims that Melania Trump "is counting every minute until [Trump] is out of office and she can divorce him"?
"I am not going anywhere, I will not be bullied, I am not intimidated", she said. The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, however, says that she is not positive that there is not a tape of Trump saying the word. And it's hard to imagine that veil lifting until we know - or at least we believe - that Omarosa has dropped all of her best audio nuggets.
However, according to a former staffer, she "didn't do her job, and it got everyone in trouble".
Many condemned the president and his repeated attempts to compare minorities with animals, but there was little defense of Manigault Newman - unlike when Trump attacked National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James in recent weeks.
