In the video, a woman is heard begging her boyfriend to get out of their vehicle and leave as the fire raged closer to them.
This morning the US Forest Service is reporting, "The fire has grown primarily to the north and northwest of Vollmers, burning on both sides of Interstate 5...[T] he Shasta County Sheriff's Office is coordinating evacuations for areas affected by the incident".
The Delta Fire continued to grow aggressively throughout the evening and overnight with a large flaming front and flame lengths estimated at 300 feet high.
The two fires Thursday were raging just weeks after a blaze in the Redding area killed eight people and burned about 1,100 homes in a frightening start to the fire season.

The Shasta County Sheriff's Office is conducting evacuations on both sides of I-5 north of Lakehead to the Shasta-Siskiyou county line.
"Northbound Interstate 5 is closed at the Fawndale exit approximately 10 miles north of Redding".
Officials said the blaze was human-caused but didn't indicate whether it was arson or an accident.
Several vehicles have been destroyed on I-5, including at least two large trucks.
Photos posted online by the U.S. Forest Service showed bright orange flames in a forest just beyond a truck on a highway, and broad columns of white smoke rising above forests.
The road remained closed through Wednesday night and there was no immediate word on when the lanes would reopen.
'It isn't a lot of people, ' he said.
California has been hit with one massive blaze after another, including a blaze not far from the Delta Fire that last month burned about 1,100 homes and killed eight people.
To the west, the Ranch Fire in Mendocino, Lake and Colusa counties is 98 percent contained after charring 410,000 acres since late July.
