The phone, codenamed Sargo, is a toned down Pixel 3 that uses plastic rather than glass. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are more expensive than ever, which may bleed over into what should otherwise be a more budget-friendly device. The mid-range Pixel smartphone will look a lot like the Pixel 3 but expectedly with a single camera setup on the front. The upcoming and never confirmed device, Pixel 3 Lite has leaked in comparison photos against various iPhones and original Pixel device. This information was posted on Twitter by leaker Ben Geskin and the information was initially spotted by Russian website WYLSA. The Pixel 3 line-up was leaks heavily, and the yet unannounced Pixel 3 Lite seems to share the same fate. It does appear to have the same camera software as the bigger Pixel 3, which is actually really cool, but begs the question of how much Google will expect to charge for this device. After first popping up on the internet on November 17, the Pixel 3 Lite was the star of several leaks, culminating with today's special appearance. We're yet to have a word on other colour variants of the phone.
We can also see the presence of Android Pie on purported Pixel 3 Lite in the image. On the hardware front, the Pixel 3 Lite is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, paired with Adreno 615 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. However, the Lite will feature the same main camera sensor as that of the Pixel 3 XL and will additionally also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The official price of the Pixel 3 Lite will be revealed by Google when the phone goes official.
