Kim Kardashian posted an aerial video via her Instagram story, asking for prayers and informing her fans that her neighborhood was being threatened by rapidly spreading wildfire. "I pray everyone is safe".
Things are looking more and more serious regarding the massive wildfires now roaring across Southern California, and the FaZe House may be at some serious risk. She wrote, "Pray for Calabasas". The actress ultimately got the help she needed and tweeted that her horses were safe.
Alyssa Milano said her home was "in jeopardy" but later tweeted that she was safe.
Will Smith commented on Instagram that his home is just eight miles away from the blaze and that he and his family are "prepared to evacuate" if necessary.
Aside from Calabasas, the Woolsey fire has forced many residents from Westlake Village, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura to evacuate.
"I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment", Kim wrote Friday, just a day after the forest fires were sparked.
Even outside the evacuation zone, the impact of the fire was being felt by others in the entertainment industry.
Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro tweeted that he had abandoned his vast "Bleak House" museum collection of fantasy and horror memorabilia, while singer Etheridge said she had moved into a hotel due to the fire.
The second-largest fire, the Hill Fire, also prompted evacuations after it charred around 10,000 acres in Ventura County through Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning she tweeted, "F**k!"
Although the fatalities overshadowed any loss of property, Malibu's fame inevitably called attention to the state of its multimillion-dollar homes, including one made famous in ABC's reality dating series "The Bachelor".
