However, a new Thunder Purple variant of the phone has now been introduced and it will be arriving in Europe and the USA on November 15. The OnePlus 6T is now only available in two colors - Midnight Black and Mirror Black - and while those look different enough, neither are particularly exciting.
OnePlus previously announced the Thunder Purple color for China. The model sold by OnePlus is fully compatible with T-Mo, though, so you don't have to worry about losing support for LTE bands or something like that.
Other than that, the OnePlus 6T is sold in the matte Midnight Black and the glossy Mirror Black options for the same configuration. This means that the device will launch at the same price as the Mirror Black and Midnight Black for the OnePlus 6T in India. The new variant sports a frosted back panel, with the colour gradient changing from black at the top to purple towards the bottom.
The OnePlus 6T is also the first smartphone in the United States to feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and it's the first OnePlus phone ever to launch in the U.S. with a carrier partner. The color variant will also be unveiled in India, which is considered to be one of the company's major markets, on November 16. The price of the new Oneplus 6T color variant is also the same. The smartphone flaunts 6.41-inch full-HD+ Optic AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the highest possible resolution at 1080x2340 pixels. In terms of inbuilt storage options, the OnePlus 6T comes in 128GB and 256GB models, not expandable via microSD card. It features the latest, most powerful platform, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, with up to 8GB of RAM that creates an experience that continues to set the standard for performance. On the back is a dual camera setup - 16 and 20 megapixels - and on the front is a respectable 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 6T skips on the headphone jack-so you're left with either Type-C or Bluetooth sound accessories.
