We talked about Spider-Man: Far From Home before, as the film delivered evidence that several main Marvel characters have survived the snap at the end of Infinity War. We'll find out when Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019. Even if the leak turns out to be false, at least we know for certain that the trailer is coming sometime this week.
The dazzling second trailer for Captain Marvel is finally here! Hollywood veteran Samuel L Jackson plays her support system and their chemistry will make you chuckle.
The trailer then features Annette Bening's character, Danvers' Kree mother, who reveals that Carol's real life began nearly as it ended. Though Carol was born human, her Kree DNA slows down her aging process, making it only natural that she'd look more or less the same after twenty-plus years. The film stars en media res, or in the middle of the action, with Carol Danvers already full of Kree superpowers. However, many others assumed that Law was playing Mar-Vell, the warrior who passes the mantle of Captain Marvel to Carol Danvers.
There are also scenes where Danvers gets a peek at her file, with photos of her past life as a pilot, telling Fury that she, 'had a life here'.
Who exactly is Carol Danvers?
Also in the movie are Djimon Hounsou as Korath and Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, with both previously appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy. The character of Captain Marvel was introduced during the San Diego Comic-Con of 2016. And she gets unintentionally involved in their war. The Kree found her and made her into one of them.
